Our Mother's Day Season Opener featured some windy weather, but some great racing and test and tune. Some new cars debuted, including an all electric hot rod Pinto!

Our best wishes for a speedy recovery for Jay Hunison, who's battling cancer at the moment.

The Hunison Memorial race was still held in honor of Jay's brother Bill, and the winner was Nathan Thornsley of Palmer, with Dwayne Lile of Anchorage as runner up.
