Memorial weekend started off with rain on Saturday, which caused the races to be postponed to Sunday afternoon. Sunday morning Earl was out drying off the track at 5:30 am so that it would be ready for time trials to start at 10am. Amanda Reimann, 16 years old, was out in her dad’s dragster making her licensing passes so that she can run in the Top Dragster class on Monday. The points races for the day were done before the rain hit, causing Saturday’s races to be postponed again till Monday afternoon. Monday was a beautiful sunny day and was perfect for the running of the Tony Prockish Memorial races. We had four cars in our Top Eliminator class. Ralph Beitter was back on Monday running in the Top Dragster class. We crowned a new King of the Street bracket racer and finished off all the races from the weekend.
